Radiant Health SF

Marina and Cow Hollow, San Francisco · Naturopathic and functional medicine practice

A naturopathic practice in the Marina with three doctors, built first around hormones and now selling a longevity track on top of that. The front door is biological age: they use the TruAge epigenetic test from TruDiagnostics, an at-home kit you mail back, and turn the result into a protocol that can include peptides, metformin, bioidentical hormones, supplements and lifestyle changes. Alongside that sit NAD+ infusions and injections, GLP-1 and HCG weight loss, thyroid and menopause care, and a long menu of send-out functional lab tests through named outside laboratories. New patients start with a Health Strategy Call rather than an appointment. Nothing we read says what any of it costs, whether insurance is billed, or when the office is open, and the site publishes two different San Francisco addresses.

What this clinic can help you evaluate or manage

Plain-language goals come first. The clinic’s named tests, treatments and programs stay below for people who want the technical detail.

Care philosophy Integrative & root-causePerformance & optimization (secondary)

The practice describes itself as naturopathic and functional throughout, working from root causes with send-out functional lab panels and treatment built on nutrition, supplements and bioidentical hormones. The longevity page sits on top of that in optimization language, offering to "reverse biological aging" and "turn back your biological clock" with peptides, metformin and NAD+.

01
Medical weight loss

Physician-supervised weight care, including GLP-1 programs.

Two published weight programs: a GLP-1 program naming Ozempic and Mounjaro, and a separate HCG injectable program. Dr. Safaei publishes a Clinical Weight Management Certification from A4M.
02
Midlife & menopause

Separate hormonal change from everything else it gets blamed for.

Menopause support has its own service page, and both naturopathic doctors publish perimenopause and menopause, including BHRT, among their areas of expertise.
03
Hormones & energy

Understand why you feel off, and what is treatable.

Hormones are the practice's founding subject: bioidentical hormone replacement, thyroid support, adrenal dysregulation and urine hormone and neurotransmitter testing through ZRT, Meridian Valley and Genova Diagnostics.
04
Genetics & biological age

Learn your inherited risks and how fast you are actually aging.

The clinic publishes the TruAge epigenetic test from TruDiagnostics, which it describes as using "methylation markers on your DNA to predict your biological age", and separately offers telomere testing and telomere length as part of its Spectracell micronutrient panel.
05
Gut & digestive health

Investigate persistent gut symptoms with real testing.

Comprehensive stool testing, breath testing to separate candida, SIBO and H. pylori, and a gut support service page covering IBS, dysbiosis, GERD and food sensitivities.

Services explained

Plain-language groupings help make different clinic service menus easier to understand and compare.

Longevity and biological age

The longevity track, and the reason to come here rather than to a general naturopath. The TruAge test is a kit you order, collect at home and mail back, not a draw in the office. The clinic says the report comes back in five to seven weeks with recommendations, and that reviewing it with a doctor is a separate appointment you book yourself. NAD+ is offered both as a drip and as a shot; no session length, dose or price is published for either.

Hormones

The original practice, and still the bulk of the site. Bioidentical hormone therapy, menopause and thyroid care are described in detail; the homepage tile labelled "Low Testosterone" links to the low libido page rather than to a testosterone page, so ask what is actually on offer for men.

Weight

Two different weight programs run side by side. The GLP-1 program names Ozempic and Mounjaro. The HCG program is a separate injectable protocol and carries the clinic's strongest published claim about results.

Functional lab testing, sent to named outside labs

Nearly all the testing is sent out, and the clinic names the laboratories, which is more than most practices publish. What it does not publish is what any test costs, how long results take apart from TruAge, or whether your insurance covers any of it.

Also offered

The remainder of the menu. LDN is low-dose naltrexone, described here for fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue pain. The Health & Hormone Reset is sold as an online course rather than as care in the office.

Sample collection
The TruAge biological age test is an at-home kit. Per the clinic: "Order the TruAge Test Kit with the link below... Once your kit is registered and your sample is collected ship your sample back to TruAge in the provided envelope." The functional panels are sent to named outside laboratories; the pages we read do not say where the sample for those is taken.
Who reviews the results
The TruAge report arrives with "customized recommendations put together by Radiant Health". Sitting down with a doctor is a separate step you arrange: "If you would like to review your report with a doctor at Radiant Health please reach out to schedule an appointment."
Turnaround
Five to seven weeks for the TruAge test, per the clinic. No other test on the pages we read carries a published turnaround.
