Medical Institute of Healthy Aging, Walnut Creek
A longevity practice on Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek, founded and led by Dr. Paul H. Kim, who publishes board certifications in Family Medicine, Anti-Aging Medicine, Obesity Medicine and Regenerative Medicine. The front door is measurement: the clinic names three specific biological-age tests it offers, TrueAge by TruDiagnostic, GlycanAge and iollo, alongside brain age, artery age, lung age, body composition and biochemical panels. What follows the measurement is a wide interventional menu, including NAD+ and other infusions, seven named peptides, mesenchymal and induced pluripotent stem cell work, PRP and three BTL devices. Two things to know going in. No price appears on any page we read and the Payment Plans page has no content on it. And the site's own pages disagree about where the third clinic is: the address blocks say San Francisco, while the page titles and Dr. Kim's own bio say Atherton.

Who would actually see you, and what they trained in.
Paul H. Kim, MD
Per the clinic: "Dr. Paul H. Kim is a board-certified physician and nationally recognized leader in the field of Valengerontology, a science-forward approach to healthy aging. With over 20 years of clinical experience... A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (magna cum laude) and Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. Kim holds board certifications in Family Medicine, Anti-Aging Medicine, and Obesity Medicine, and is the first physician in the San Francisco Bay Area to be board-certified in Regenerative Medicine." Shown as the clinic states it. We have not checked any board or certifying body.

What this clinic can help you evaluate or manage
Plain-language goals come first. The clinic’s named tests, treatments and programs stay below for people who want the technical detail.
The measurement side is real and specific, but the bulk of what the clinic sells is procedures: infusions, seven peptides, mesenchymal and induced pluripotent stem cell work, PRP, birth-derived tissue and three device therapies. The founder's headline distinction is a regenerative medicine board certification. The biological-age testing organises the plan; the therapies are the product.

An Arteriometabolic Module, Artery Age Testing and Plaquex IV therapy are all published. The clinic does not say what the artery measurement is.Physician-supervised weight care, including GLP-1 programs.
Medical Weight Loss is a published service, with semaglutide plus cagrilintide and tirzepatide named as specific therapies, and a Previ Virtual Weight Management Program. Dr. Kim publishes a board certification in Obesity Medicine.Set a baseline now so change is detectable later.
Brain Age Testing is published, and the BTL EXOMIND device is offered for "mental wellness, focus, and emotional balance". Neither is described in enough detail to know what is measured or stimulated.Understand why you feel off, and what is treatable.
One of the two core programs is BHResT, and a Previ Virtual Hormone Restoration Program runs by video. Advanced saliva and urine testing is published alongside it. The clinic does not say which hormones or which therapies.Learn your inherited risks and how fast you are actually aging.
Biological age is the clinic's front door and it names the assays: TrueAge by TruDiagnostic for DNA methylation, GlycanAge for immune and inflammation-based aging, and iollo for metabolomics. Very few clinics name three.Services explained
Plain-language groupings help make different clinic service menus easier to understand and compare.
Fundamental programs
The two core programs, and the clinic publishes both as "required starting points for all patients", so this is not a pick-one. Each is described: BioAGE uses "blood-based epigenetic testing, lifestyle evaluations, and physical assessments", and BHResT is published as "Balance your hormones to restore energy, sleep, metabolism, and cognitive function through bioidentical hormone therapy." What is not published for either is how long it runs, how often you are seen, or what it costs. The BioAGE page in the navigation serves the homepage rather than program content, so read Fundamental Programs instead.
Health modules
Two add-on modules, each described on Our Services. The Arteriometabolic Module is published as "Detect and manage your cardiovascular risks with advanced imaging, biomarker tracking, and proactive therapy." The Aberrant Cell Growth Module is published as "Get ahead of abnormal cellular changes and potential cancer risks with advanced early detection tools and preventive IV support." Neither says which imaging or which detection tools, so ask.
Labs and imaging
The measurement side, and the strongest part of what this clinic publishes. The biological age line is unusually specific: three tests are named by brand. The age-labelled tests beside it are not: the clinic does not say what an artery age or a brain age is measured with.
IV therapies
Infusions given in the office. NAD+ and glutathione are the familiar longevity drips; Plaquex and autologous MSC are not, and are worth asking about specifically.
Peptides
Seven named compounded peptides. Two of them, semaglutide with cagrilintide and tirzepatide, are the weight-loss drugs; the other five are marketed for recovery, immune support and growth hormone signalling.
Regenerative
The cell-based side of the practice. This is where the clinic's own positioning sits, since Dr. Kim publishes a regenerative medicine board certification.
Devices
Three BTL devices, for muscle stimulation, brain stimulation and pelvic floor strength. These are equipment the clinic owns rather than longevity medicine as such.
Virtual programs
Two programs run entirely by video. Their pages do not say which states the clinic can treat you in; that is published in a band elsewhere on the site.
